Leila Sailing Trust run private charters and compete in Tall Ships races to support their Sail Training operations for disadvantaged, mainly young, people from Lowestoft, Ipswich and Great Yarmouth. Leila is a rare example from the heyday of yacht racing and was built in Greenwich in 1892. Groups of six or seven. Voyages are normally five days to cover an RYA qualification but they also sail weekends out of Lowestoft. |
